Introduction
TradInvestor is an online broker offering trading services for cryptocurrencies, forex, stocks, indices, and commodities. Since there are some serious negative aspects of the company, we would like to write a comprehensive review and highlight them, so people will be aware of them before opening a live trading account.
There’s little information on the company’s background, who’s the main operator or owner, which financial agency is regulating its activity (most likely, it’s an unregulated broker, since there no mention about this). Although people might be impressed by low spreads, they should carefully read all terms and conditions available on the website, as you will see below. But before we dig into that, let’s talk briefly about the trading platform.
Trading Platforms
TradInvestor relies on a single platform, that is web-based and offers no mobile app for Android or iOS. After taking a quick look at the platform, the design is poor, showing that there was little attention to details. The only advantage is that we have TradingView-powered charts, but most of the brokers have added other features as well.
The company claims to have developed a user-friendly platform and opening a trade is easy. However, this doesn’t look like a platform that’s the result of strong research and huge resources allocation. Very basic stuff, with nothing that should impress any trader.
Account Types
In order to open a silver account, which is the most basic one, any potential client must deposit 2,500€. Compared to most of the other popular brokers, this is an exaggerated number. TradInvestor promises to provide a senior account consultant, market reviews and recommendations among others, but the company’s profile we’ve described until now does not prove that it’s worth to invest so much money, even just to test whether their trading services are reliable. The offer also includes gold, platinum, and diamond account, all with much higher initial deposits required.
At first glance, trading conditions seem to better than usual, with spreads for most of the assets, including cryptocurrencies, very low. However, by digging into the terms and conditions, we can notice that TradInvestor charges very high withdrawal fees. In terms of cryptocurrency trading, there are currently 29 tokens supported, but the main downside is that only USDT and EURT pairs are being supported. No fiat and cross cryptocurrency pairs at the time of writing.
Promotions
According to the information available on its website, TradInvestor has a deposit bonus promotion, which makes clients eligible to receive a bonus in their account currency. The bonus is credited to an account and becomes available only after the required trading volume had been met. In order to find out more, you should carefully read the terms, since we think that the details provided are vague.
Education
Speaking about the education section, TradInvestor offers material related to forex and cryptocurrencies. The information available without having an account with them is very basic, with no actual information on how to trade, trading strategies, risk management models, etc. The company offers access to online courses for its clients, but its unknown what kind of information will be provided.
